You know what they say about bloggers?
Bloggers wear heels all the time, bloggers are used to it and ditch the comfy style just to be as trendy as they can be. FALSE. Well, at least for me and the thousand other bloggers that are like me. We prefer our life in comfortable mode and we don’t want to switch to another mode. We need our trainers, our pants and our tees. Then we can be happy gals and smile right back at you.
Those that claim that they feel good in heels are 1. honest, they really have got that much of experience needed to walk into those 10cm platforms. And they actually enjoy it. 2. liars, they just want to play the part and pretend they like to feel the pain that they claim they don’t feel at all. They are happy just being fashionistas.
Other girls, raise your hand. Here I am.
There are a whole bunch of things that people think of bloggers that are totally false and I think I could write more articles about it.
One is about wearing heels on pictures VS the reality.
These heels that I am wearing for this photoshoot are impossible to wear on a night out, not even that. They are impossible to walk into. But, you know… people would say, it’s cause they are not Valentino. Of course, quality matters. But I think in terms of how much high a platform/shoe is, that determines how well and for how long you can walk into it. Unless you really like the pain. Then you can walk into every kind of shoes.
But let’s say your approach to pain is normal, then you wouldn’t want to suffer all day long. That is why is useful to bring a pair of trainers or comfortable shoes with you.
The funny thing is that people can see me changing rapidly shoes in the middle of the street, with possible nonchalance, and I really couldn’t care less. I have my moment with high heels and that looks good in pictures. But then I need my moment back with my trainers and cherish that until the end of the day.
You know, women have their secrets and we are all different. (supposedly)
