Going through July and now August, you have probably been thinking a lot of “How do I create a summer workwear wardrobe?” We spend most time at work and even if we don’t want to admit it, we like to look chic from time to time. But when the sunny weather comes, it’s hard to figure out what to wear while staying comfortable and looking fab.
The brand Warehouse has a great variety of workwear jumpsuits, (and also holiday playsuits!) from red to striped, all colors and shapes. I’ve been playing around looking at their selection and matching 3 of their jumpsuits with 3 sandals, 3 bags and 3 accessories (from other cool brands too) to complete a perfect workwear summer look.
Also follow my easy steps to create the perfect work summer outfit below:
1 MINIMAL ACCESSORIES: We don’t want our boss to wonder if we are ready for a summer party or we came to actually do some work on the day. It’s better to keep it casual, accessories wise. Choose a pair of statement earrings, or a set of tiny bracelets. Whatever suits your tastes, but doesn’t grab too much attention.
2 COMFORTABLE SHOES: We have to admit it, heels are just tough. We love their heights and they way they make us feel, but it’s just too damn hard to keep a straight face while we concentrate on our daily workload and try to keep balance when we walk around the office. Then you know the answer… comfortable shoes like sandals or flats that can make us look feminine, but don’t make us sweaty!
3 THE PERFECT BAG: One thing I noticed, when I’m wearing jumpsuits, it’s that I need a good sized bag or a comfy bum bag. It’s necessary to bring all the essentials with me, but I also need to keep in mind the kind of outfit that I am wearing. I also think backpacks are kinda cute and useful while wearing a jumpsuit. It works well with the overall look, especially if you are wearing a bright colored jumpsuit.
