Review: Gengigel for sensitive gums

Ever since I was a teenager, my problem with sensitive and bleeding gums started. If you have the same issue, you know what I am talking about. It’s strenuous and it makes you wonder how to act on it to finally be able to stop the bleeding. I have a normal dental hygiene and take care of my teeth, so I was wondering what was wrong. I consulted my general dentistry specialist and he recommended me some products to try. Gengigel recently approached me to try their Gengigel Mouth Rinse and Gengigel Mouth Gel range of products (which you can find in Boots, Superdrug and Lloyds Pharmacy in UK) and I have started to using them this week.

Gengigel is a unique, patented range of oral care products that utilise the natural healing properties of hyaluronic acid to treat a range of oral conditions associated with soreness and inflammation. Gengigel stops any minor bleeding, soothes soreness and alleviates pain as well as promoting rapid healing.

First I just wanna say how much I take in consideration brands that devote their research and team to a cause, which in this case it’s to help people with sensitive, bleeding gums or ulcers. Secondly, so far I am impressed with the formula of these products. You know the feeling when you’re 14 years old and you find there’s something wrong with yourself. (too many flaws, perhaps?) so you kind of built some walls because you just feel different from the rest of them? Well, when you finally find some solutions, you kind of feel relaxed and you appreciate the people that work behind these brands that just want to help you fight your problems, get more help at the Dental office in Ventura, CA.

Gengigel’s key ingredient is Hyaluronic acid. Our bodies naturally produce hyaluronic acid, which main function is to regulate the healing and repair process, however our requirements increase significantly with age, when we are unwell, and when trauma or infection is present.

The Gengigel range contains naturally-derived high quality, Hyaluronan. Using Gengigel helps both healing and symptom relief (such as stopping minor bleeding and soothing pain and soreness).

Gengigel Mouthrinse (£9.35, available at Boots, Superdrug and Lloyds Pharmacy)
Usage: After brushing rinse for 1-2 minutes, 3-4 times daily.
Principal ingredient: Sodium Hyaluronate.

I feel so much relieved now that I am using this Gengigel range. The mouth rinse is dense and you can feel the difference from a normal mouth rinse. (which I totally appreciate) It’s not tingling or itchy at all, so you can use it 3-4 times a day easily. Regular dental examinations and cleanings at Wicker Park Dental can also remove additional plaque and identify any problem areas in your mouth, such as cavities or gum disease.

Gengigel Gel (£7.95, available at Boots, Superdrug and Lloyds Pharmacy)
Usage: Massage gently into affected area 3-4 times daily.
Principal ingredient: Sodium Hyaluronate.

The Gengigel mouth gel as well it’s got a dense and fresh formula, which easily penetrates the gum and won’t make you feel any discomfort at all. Love that you can apply it multiple times a day, which is a total relief especially if you wake up and find yourself with a mouth ulcer and just want to get rid of it quickly. We still recommend you to consult your dentist about the products you want to try to get their professional advice.
