I feel like there are certain things which I don’t know how to talk properly about. One of these has to be Coronavirus. I just feel like my voice is too small to express something right now. And I just wanna say that during the lockdown we must take the time to explore within ourselves and what we want from now on.
We also have to enjoy the time alone or with little company as much as we can and find new ways of doing that. (or take old ways we enjoyed before and adjust it to the current situation of #stayinghome) For me, one of the things I enjoy most doing is photography and creating content (as you might have known by now, if you have been following me on my Instagram www.instagram.com/anevgrung) So I took the plunge and started creating from the comfort of my shared flat.
I actually don’t need much to be able to create content right away. I share the flat also with my cousin, which happens to be a good photographer herself and together we create some good content. I suggest you use a tripod and photo retouching services if you’re alone and want to create content for your feed. I also do that and had some fun while feeling inspired and motivated and also proudly productive! If we are lucky enough to be safe at home and be healthy, we need to be grateful and enjoy the small moments. If there’s one thing that this situation has to teach us, it’s that the small moments and the small things are the best and surprisingly they are the ones that make us grow inside out the most.
One small trick to create content at home – and one trick that I constantly use – is to use props. Anything you have around you. From brushes to vases to fruits and flowers. Those details will help your photos and make them stand out.
Another trick that can help you is to have a good background/backdrop. Remember the importance of finding a good location when shooting for the feed? Well, now we can’t. But we still got the option of creating a good background or use a white background and do some shadow play. You can also shop backdrops online.
