I love flowers.
I have a deep affection for them – the same my mom always had since I can remember – and I love to be surrounded by them. I love roses the most – my favorite flower – but I do love all flowers in general. Also I love plants too.

One thing I learnt while taking portraits of myself is that flowers can be a really great tool to add and they can really bring my photos to the next level (especially editorial speaking) and I love matching the flower color to the outfit color and vice versa. If you are fascinated by flowers you can know the best destinations to watch flowers here.

You can use these quick poses tips for your next shoots with flowers/plants:
Pose with the flower in front of your eye/eyes: depending on which tone you want to give to the photo, you can cover one or both eyes. You will have an editorial feel straight away and despite not giving the full attention to the viewer, you will catch it anyway thanks to the flower prop.

Have your flower/plants near you and hold it like a precious thing. This will give the photo a bit of emotion too.
Pose near a table with your flowers/plants on it and have them be the contour of the photo. In the left or right corner, they will add the shot that casual vibe.
