Two Dresses at the Beach

As I am writing these lines, the weather here in Italy got really hot. Even too hot to handle! It was more than 10 years that I didn’t experience more than 40 degrees in my body and in my head. And I felt a little bit exhausted. But overall, it will get a little better soon and temperatures will be 26-30 again, which is so much more digestible – at least we can move from the house, not looking like zombies!

Love Letters to the Sea

Days ago, we spent some time at the beach. And it’s really my happy place. Especially when temperatures are around 30 degrees and the sea is calm and crystal clear and not cold. I feel in my element. And if you don’t know yet – as of two years ago I couldn’t swim – not even staying above the water. I then learnt by myself – little by little – taking deep breaths and moving my hands to follow the waves flow. I felt like surviving. I felt alive. And now I feel so much better when I hit the beach. (still don’t go where I can’t touch, but at least I know how to swim now)

When I get some time to myself, I really go deep in writing and I love it. I used to write poems and books, and everything in between. I am a quick writer – which basically means I write very quickly and I write short lines and paragraphs. But I do enjoy it. A lot. So today’s post is a little bit romantic (love letters to the sea) and nostalgic (I missed the beach) and also showing you how to pose on a heatwave near the shorelines. Which outfit is your favorite?
